StartBiz SG exists to explain how to set up and run a Singapore company clearly and accurately, backed by primary sources. Our figures and rules come from ACRA, IRAS, EnterpriseSG, GoBusiness, MOM and CPF Board, and every page carries the date each figure or rule was valid.

Who runs this site

StartBiz SG is run by a small editorial team. Our content is produced with an automated research-and-drafting pipeline and passes automated checks before publishing. We do not invent authors, reviews, testimonials or first-hand experiences, and we have not personally incorporated the companies we write about.

What we will not do

We do not give legal, tax or accounting advice, we do not push a single firm, and we do not publish fees or rules we cannot trace to an official source. Where a page mentions a paid service, we show the official do-it-yourself route alongside it. Where we cannot verify something, we leave it out and point you to the source.
